What happens before the first case?
You get an email with your link. Tap it and we'll ask you a few easy questions about your life, one at a time: where you grew up, a dish you're famous for, a funny family story. Type, or tap the microphone on your keyboard and just talk. About ten minutes, and you can skip any question. Your first mystery is built from what you tell us.
How do I play?
On your family's day you get an email. Tap the link and your clues open. Call your grandchild and read your clues to each other. It takes about 30-60 minutes, and you can stop at any “good place to stop” and finish on another call.
Do I need to be good with technology?
No. If you can open an email, you can play. The text is large, every clue can be read out loud, and every screen has one big main button.
Can I add more of my stories?
Yes, that's where every mystery starts. After each case there's one more question for you to answer, by typing or talking, and we turn your stories into future mysteries.
Can I buy it for my grandkids myself?
Yes, as a gift. Choose the length and a start date, and a parent of the grandkids sets it up with the gift code. A parent does the setup, because they give permission for their children to play.
